The town of San Pedro del Pinatar hosted last Saturday, May 21, one of four in the final program of Physical Activity and Sport School Age regional, which aims to promote sports in schools through securities educational and fun.
This program includes a championship sports promotion, in which various schools representing their respective municipalities and covering sports team and individual involved.
This tournament is divided into a first municipal phase, inter phase and culminates in the regional finals.
This weekend was held the Regional Final School Triathlon on Paseo de la Mota.
During the sunny day, 300 schools across the region, (Yecla, Cehegín, Caravaca, etc) gathered for the final in the quiet beaches of the Mar Menor.
Minors, were accompanied by their families, so it is estimated that about a thousand people enjoyed the pinatarense environment.
Program Activity and Sports School Age 2015-16 to promote sport in schools and the education of these in order to develop their personality, get good physical and health conditions and training that enables the continued practice of sport in later ages, San Pedro has chosen to organize different endings.
Thus, in June Villananitos Beach will host the final of beach volleyball and also held the final stage of Mate, one of the predeportivas disciplines that attract schoolchildren.
