On Sunday the first day of Romania in the region, an activity organized by the Romanian Association pinatarense, "ACORAMAR, a heart two seas" was held.
At the Leisure Centre and Emerging Arts of San Pedro del Pinatar they gathered more than hundred people to celebrate the event and International Children's Day.
Among the many objectives of the association, it is the continuing education of Romanian study, so that all children born here and do not learn in school this language, to know when they return to their hometowns.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, accompanied by the General Consul of Romania in Seville, Radu Catalin Mardare and the Honorary Consul in Murcia, Jose David Perez, welcomed the large audience and thanked the festive atmosphere and conviviality .
ACORAMAR organized this event which acted poets, musicians, singers and dance groups dressed with regional folk costumes.
Craftsmen and other associations of Murcia and Alicante, as well as related companies, also participated in this activity served to raise awareness of the culture and traditions of Romania through exhibitions woodwork and ceramics, textiles and paintings of vivid colors and rich cuisine with hearty dishes and tasty desserts.
