San Pedro del Pinatar held on Sunday, May 29, the Day of Corpus Christi with processions trails in Lo Pagan and San Pedro, where the children of communion were accompanied by dozens of faithful.
San Pedro del Pinatar and Lo Pagan yesterday celebrated the religious festival of Corpus Christi, which procesionaron more than one hundred children who this year received the first communion.
San Pedro del Pinatar hosted the largest procession in which more than a hundred children, preceded by a Mass in the Church of the Holy Trinity at 19:00 participated.
Subsequently, around 20:00, the standards of the brotherhoods of San Pedro del Pinatar opened the parade procession, followed by children who this year celebrated their first communion and flower petals sprinkled on the altars and streets the municipality, to the Plaza of the Constitution.
The brotherhoods of San Juan, La Dolorosa, Santiago and the Christ of Forgiveness, the association of the Virgen del Carmen and faithful of the municipality set up six shrines in different parts of the municipality to receive Holy shape, symbol of the Body of Christ, carried by the priests of the town.
Members of the municipal corporation and faithful of the municipality closed the procession followed by the band Union Musical San Pedro music.
The coastal village of Lo Pagán Corpus Christi celebrated during the morning, with a Mass in the church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen, at 11:00 hours and a later procession.
