Students enrolled in the Open Classroom IES Manuel Tárraga Escribano San Pedro del Pinatar, accompanied by their teachers, were welcomed by the Mayor, Visitation Martinez, the Councillor for Education, Guadalupe Garcia and the Councillor for Tourism, Silvia Egea, in the City of San Pedro del Pinatar, for delivery of a tourist guide produced by students as a project prom.
The said project, in collaboration with students of the Open Classroom IES Vicente Medina Archena, entitled "Knowing San Pedro del Pinatar and Ricote Valley".
It is a tourist guide both locations by the students, which have included photos of their outputs for the environment, points of interest, extended information via QR codes linked to websites of interest and informative videos.
Professionals working in the Open Classroom use projects as a method of learning, functional, significant and widespread to learn practical aspects such as the historical knowledge of the location, orientation in space, handling maps, use of new technologies , social skills, motivation, etc.
