Pedro Javier has reported that larviciding treatments are performed throughout the year fortnightly and in the case of rains occur start again treatments immediately, with larvicides in all encharcables areas, parks, gardens, scuppers, solar, ponds and salt marshes perimeter channel of the municipality, supplemented with adulticide fortnightly from the months of April to October treatments.
In view of the results obtained in San Pedro del Pinatar, it is necessary to increase preventive treatments mosquito made by the company Pest Control, especially in this age of increased proliferation of mosquitoes and continue raising awareness to the public, to take appropriate measures in their homes, eliminating any type of container that can hold standing water can be focus of mosquito larvae, both as the type tiger mosquito culex and chironomids.

Pedro Javier said that "experience shows that only reductions in mosquito populations are obtained when the community is advised, informed and involved in their control since it is estimated that most of the breeding of larvae of the species occurs in private areas located in urban environments, where only owners can exercise control measures ".
For its part, the biologist of enterprise Pest Control "Belmonte" indicated some steps to consider for fights against mosquito.
According to Morales, avoid containers that can collect water, such as buckets, cans, pots dishes, etc.
Remove standing water from objects such as vases, ashtrays, plastic pools, drinking fountains, tires, cover tightly with lid or mosquito nets, water tanks, maintain chlorine levels in ponds, pools or swimming pools.
It is also recommended to regularly clean the gutters of roofs and terraces and avoid flooding with discharges or risks.
