The festivities of San Pedro del Pinatar lived yesterday his big day with the procession of his patron through the streets of the town accompanied by faithful neighbors, the queens of the holidays, local authorities, the band of Bugles and Drums of the Brotherhood the Apostle Peter and the municipal band "Musical Union".
After holding a huertana Mass in the church of St. Peter the Apostle, the brothers of the brotherhood of San Pedro Apostle and a group of members of the Third Roman Hermenegildo Fresneda Pujol, ported to shoulders the image of the pattern that paraded through the city center the location.
After the image of the saint closed the procession the board of the Brotherhood and the mayor of the municipality, Visitation Martinez, accompanied by members of the Municipal Corporation and local authorities.
In addition, the Brotherhood of St. Peter the Apostle held in the morning, at 11:00 am the official Mass in honor of the patron of the town, concelebrated by five priests.
After the Mass, the brotherhood gave out medals to new brothers and two distinctions Ros Mary Gines Martinez Gaona and Torres were awarded.
The events in honor of the patron closed with a concert by the local band "Union Musical," directed by Raul Lopez Sanchez, at 22:30 pm in the Plaza of the Constitution, and with the shot of a firework display to midnight, next to the church of the Holy Trinity.
