The Councillor for Education, Guadalupe Garcia, attended the closing ceremony of scientific summer camp "Food for a healthy life: Ali-science" that was held in San Pedro del Pinatar, from June 27 to July 1.
This camp for students enrolled in 3rd and 4th of ESO and Baccalaureate has developed in the Municipal Hostel of the town, in order to learn, through workshops, to know the properties of food, how to combine them and how to cook them in order to reflect on the importance of an optimal diet that provides enough nutrients to meet the needs of our body and improve well-being and health, reducing the risk of disease in the future.
The workshops have been combined with sports, leisure and free time to realize that a good diet must be supplemented with healthy lifestyles.
