Fourteen women have completed this course whose aim has been to gain knowledge to take advantage of the resources offered by nature for development and conservation.
Fourteen unemployed women of San Pedro del Pinatar, have successfully completed the course on "Diversification of the rural economy: natural products and their development" organized by the Association of Families and Women in Rural, AFAMMER, in collaboration with the Department of Equality .
The course, 36 hours of theory and practice, completely free and approved by the Ministry of Health Social Services and Equality, has been aimed at finding employment or self-employment, as well as gain knowledge to take advantage of the resources offered by nature for processing and conservation.
The workshop participants, aged from 18 years to 63 years learned to program, plan and coordinate development projects food products such as cheese origin, its manufacturing process, classification and consistency.
Reception and preparation of raw materials, previous treatments and own the development of different varieties of natural products, soap making, kneading bread, cooked jams, making skin creams, etc.
An educational activity where participants learned through what may be an alternative to finding a related post not only in food industries but also as additional training in the hospitality industry.
