The Marina de Las Salinas hosted on Saturday, at 22:00, the output of the third edition of the night race Pinatar Full Moon Race, which had a large participation and athletes swept under the light moon, the unique environment of the natural park Salinas and Arenales of San Pedro.
The race featured a circular route of 7.6 kilometers, in which participants have traveled Avenue El Puerto, the perimeter channel and Las Salinas natural beaches of El Mojon and Tower Demolished.
The broker LÁlcudia Jose Antonio Perez, with a time of 25 minutes and 16 seconds, was the first to cross the finish line, followed by Antonio Lorente of Atletisme Crevillent (25 min 58 sec) and Moises Meroño the 30740 Sports Club (26 min 08 sec).
In the women, Mercedes Merino, of long distance runners Sewell, was the first classified (31 min 12 sec), followed by Berta Canovas (31 min 55 sec), and Beatriz Rios (32 min 12 sec).
Besides the absolute race, at 20:30 various children's tests, in which 250 children participated prebenjamines categories of juveniles, in the dock of the marina at distances of 100, 650, 1300 and 1950 meters they were played.
Thus, the Pinatar Full Moon Race, organized by the Department of Sports of San Pedro del Pinatar and included in the regional circuit Running Challenge, is consolidated in its second year as the most participatory career of the town with 1,100 participants.
