The photo contest organized by the city of San Pedro del Pinatar, the Fishermen's Association and the Association of Our Lady of Carmen, rewards the best images of terrestrial and maritime pilgrimage procession
The photograph of Encarnacion Soto Garcia, who represents a midplane of the Virgen del Carmen on one of the stops performing on the altars arranged on July 16, has been awarded in the category of terrestrial pilgrimage, with a prize of 150 euros by its contrasting colors, earth tones and pastels of the Virgin they stand out against the bright green background.
The selected in the category of maritime procession, also awarded 150 euros, image was presented by Irene Perez Perez, showing the boat where this year the image of the surrounded Virgin embarked in the background for the rest of boats festooned .
This year highlights the high level of the 29 photographs submitted to the contest a total of 24 participants who have immortalized their cameras one of the most important days of the town, the feast of the Virgen del Carmen, declared of Regional Tourist Interest in 1965 .
The jury of this contest was made up of members linked to photography, the Fishermen's Association and the Nuestra Señora del Carmen association.
