The hamlet of El Mojon, located between San Pedro del Pinatar and Pilar de la Horadada, yesterday concluded the festivities in honor of San Roque with a procession and a mass campaign on the esplanade along the promenade.
Neighbors of El Mojon yesterday celebrated the feast of San Roque with a procession of his image, cover shouldered by women from the coastal hamlet and accompanied by the musicians of the Huapango Association, which toured the main streets of the town center, from the headquarters of the neighborhood association to the esplanade adjacent to the promenade.
Around 20:00 pm a mass campaign in honor of San Roque on the esplanade, which was attended by dozens of neighbors and the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, along with several councilors held this Pilar town and the Horada, as well as members of the Association of neighbors and queens parties.
The day ended with a popular verbena in the past concourse 23:00.
The festivities of El Mojon began last Aug. 10, with various activities planned by neighbors, which have included children's games, tours, contests, markets, workshops fencing, screen printing, zumba or water aerobics, football games, fencing tournament, dance performances, concerts and festivals, among other activities.
