Unemployed in the region of Mar Menor are credited to serve dependents after nine months of theoretical and practical training
Closed a mixed employment and training program in geriatric care, developed by the Aidemar association and funded by the SEF with 99,000 euros
A total of nine unemployed in the region of Mar Menor, between 25 and 54 years have successfully completed at San Javier a mixed program of employment and training for geriatric care for dependents, allowing them to obtain a certificate of professionalism and significantly increase their employability in this sector.
The program has developed the Association for the Integration of Disabled Persons in the region of Mar Menor (Aidemar), with funding of 99,000 euros from the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF).
Participants, who were active job seekers and had a personalized itinerary of insertion in their offices SEF, have developed their activities in downtown San Javier Aidemar day and this partnership sheltered housing in the municipality.
This project, which started in November last year and closed today the director general of SEF, Alejandro Zamora, and the president of Aidemar, Francisco Garcia, has allowed these people alternate learning with updated professional experience in an activity of interest social, while perceived remuneration.
Professionalism certificate accredits specialty made their skills and facilitates their access to the labor market.
In fact, two of those nine participants will be recruited shortly by the Aidemar own.
Alejandro Zamora stressed that "Aidemar hosted a workshop several years of employment geriatric field, and since then all members managed to be hired."
He also congratulated the participants and stated that these initiatives "not only facilitate the employment of the unemployed, but promote a stable permanence in the labor market".
In addition, he emphasized that "training is emerging as a key element to finding employment, especially in groups of difficult insertion".
Meeting with the mayor of San Pedro to analyze local employment
Prior to the closing ceremony, Alejandro Zamora met with the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, and during the meeting studied the actions taken in the municipality by the Community in employment.
Some of these actions are two mixed employment and training programs focused respectively on masonry and gardening activities, or three local public employment programs, which total more than 415,000 euros in grants.
Zamora also discussed with the mayor the positive trend of employment in San Pedro, where unemployment has fallen by 464 people so far this year (19.31 percent down).
Regarding Social Security data, membership has grown steadily in recent months and the latest figure is 7,293 affiliated persons, when in January were 6,323.
Support for other projects Aidemar
Aidemar is a non-profit organization composed of families with children who have disabilities, and was born in 1982. This year, the Association has received over half a million euros through the SEF to promote different projects that enable people with disabilities and their families an effective alternative employment.
The Regional Employment and Training has funded with 406,000 euros salary costs of a person hired 111 workers with an intellectual, physical or sensory disability template, and a support unit with eight professionals, managers and technicians, serving 67 these workers.
The SEF aims to promote the integration of people with disabilities through innovative approaches, such as the initiative 'Supported Employment', to which it allocates 102,000 euros.
The aim is to promote employment in the regular labor market of people with disabilities through job search techniques, job counseling, and flanking the insertion.
