The City Council invests 70,000 euros in the provision of four new vehicles aimed at improving citizen service provided by the local police.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez and the councilman Police, Angela Gaona, today presented the four vehicles will join the fleet of the local police.
The City Council has acquired two patrol cars and two motorcycles to improve the provision of local police and fostering better service to citizens.
The investment of 69,758 euros was made through a centralized purchase of the Directorate General of Heritage, in order to take advantage of economies of scale and get a competitive price, explained the mayor.
The two cars purchased screen allow greater security to the staff of the local police when arresting people because they are in a cabin specially enabled and protected.
They are also equipped with two front doors armored for more seguirdad if a shooting or hitting the vehicle.
The two police motorcycles also allow faster movements agents in the case of traffic delays or obstacles in the road, they are easy to use and functional.
In both cases there has been renewed external labeling for better visibility and has a modern sound and light system.
