The Prince of Asturias Pavilion has hosted this championship prior to the World Youth held in November in St. Petersburg international tournament.
The Prince of Asturias Pavilion reception from 5 to 8 October International Boxing club championship Pinatar, which has brought together more than 120 professionals, including players, referees and staff federations.
In the championship participated clubs and national teams of Spain, Germany, Sweden, Wales, France, Monaco, the Netherlands, Italy and Morocco.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez and the Councillor for Sports, Daniel Perez, met this morning with the national coach, Rafael Lozano, President of the Murcia Federation, Felipe Martinez, the secretary of the Spanish Federation, Jose Maria Prieto and Olympic boxer Sissoko, who was part of the Spanish team in Rio de Janeiro.
Visitation Martinez stressed the impact on the tourism and commercial sector which has led to this event, with more than 600 overnight stays in the village during the championship, only participants and technical teams, to which should be added the family and fans also they spend these days in San Pedro del Pinatar.
Meanwhile, organizers have appreciated the willingness and support of the City in the tournament and have given away the mayor and council with a shirt of the Spanish selection.
