The Association of Families and Women in Rural Areas in the region, AFAMMER, in collaboration with the Department of Equality, gives the months of October and November the course "green Productions: horticulture, medicinal and aromatic plants" at the Center for Social Services, women and Equality Agustina Santiago.
A total of 17 unemployed women perform this course aimed at equipping participants with the necessary knowledge in the field of organic production and take advantage of the formation of the rural population to create stable employment ecological productions.
Among other topics, the course will address, among other issues, ecological horticulture, fruit growing, production of small fruits, aromatic and medicinal plants, composting, processing of agricultural products, production of bread and environmental education.
