The local Government Board has today approved the granting of subsidies, for a total amount of 7,500 euros to associations of the socio-health field with implementation in the municipality for the development of their projects.
Thus, 2,143 euros will be awarded to the local Board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) and the Association of Integration of the Disabled of the Mar Menor (AIDEMAR), while the Mar Menor Alzheimer Association (AMMA) will receive 1,714 euros and ASENFIFA, Association of Sick and Familiars of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome will get 1,500 euros.
The granting of these grants has valued the collaboration of these entities with needy families in the municipality through projects of socio-health interest, the promotion of programs adapted to the specific needs of the sick, collaboration in the material needs for the implementation Projects and cooperation between Public Administration, associations and local volunteers.
It has also taken into account the coordination of resources to improve the care of sick people and their families, active social participation with needy groups and foster spaces for coexistence, social inclusion and solidarity.
PRACTICES IN HEALTH EMERGENCIES
The Governing Board has also approved agreements with the different offices of the Claudio Galeno Institute so that the students of the cycle of technician of average degree in Sanitary Emergencies carry out labor practices in the City council.
Through this agreement, this educational entity also undertakes to give a yearly training grant, valued at 3,900 euros, for public employees or municipal volunteers.
MUNICIPAL EQUALITY PLAN
On the other hand, the I Plan for Equal Opportunities between women and men has been approved for the period 2016 to 2020, a tool aimed at promoting the integration of the principle of equality in the municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar and promoting public policies , Addressing gender inequalities and laying the groundwork for programming and implementing actions that contribute to the promotion of real and effective equality.
ABANDONED ANIMAL COLLECTION SERVICE
In another of the agenda items, the list of administrative clauses for the contracting of the collection and control service for abandoned animals was approved, after the hiring file was declared void last week.
