The mayor of San Pedro, Visitación Martínez, the manager of Activ-Group, Mathias Buttkus, and the director of Trade and Consumer Protection, Francisca Cabrera, today inaugurated the Pinatar Park commercial park, located on the N-332 road, In the hamlet of Los Sáez.
Pinatar Park will offer a wide range of services and products, such as supermarket, DIY center, cafeteria, hamburgers, furniture sales, toy store, pet shop and gas station.
In addition, the area, with a total area of ​​23,000 square meters, has 380 parking spaces and has been urbanized the entire environment of the same, with green areas, pedestrian walks, street furniture, etc.
Mathias Buttkus thanked the Town Hall, tenants and construction company for the work done in recent months to make this project a reality and stressed that 100% of the premises have been occupied in record time.
The managing partner of Activ Group has detailed that the project is developed on an area of ​​23,000 square meters, of which have been built 10,500 meters, and has meant an investment of around 16 million euros.
Among other details it has been highlighted that it has chosen a sustainable and environmentally friendly construction, with energy efficiency level B and led lighting, also reducing the consumption of water and installing eight free places with pumps for electric cars.
Likewise, it has indicated that almost 100% of the subcontractors have been regional companies.
For her part, the mayor stressed that this new commercial park entails the creation of 100 direct jobs in San Pedro del Pinatar, to which must be added the indirect ones created during the construction and by the complementary services to the same, creating a new niche Of employment and opportunities for Pinatarians.
Visitación Martínez has also highlighted the total transformation that has meant this commercial area for the entrance to the municipality in the neighborhood of Los Sáez, because the park is located in a partial plan of 77,000 square meters, which are fully urbanized with vials, green areas, Accesses pedestrian, etc.
This action is also joined by the remodeling of the entrance roundabout, which features two large flamingos, insignia of the town and work of the sculptor Flypy, as well as the pedestrian walkway currently under construction, from San Pedro From Pinatar to this area on the N332 road, which connects this space with the urban core.
For its part, the Director General of Commerce has transferred the commitment of the Regional Government with such investments through initiatives such as the Decree Law of urgent measures to revive business and employment through liberalization and suppression of Bureaucratic burdens, which entails streamlining administrative procedures in opening new business processes, among other measures.
INAUGURATION DAYS
During the next two days Pinatar Park has planned activities for clients to know this new space, which will include sweepstakes, children's activities, foodtruck, etc.
