In addition, he recalled that the Regional Assembly unanimously approved at the plenary session last November 24 a motion presented by the popular group also directed to the Festival of the Virgin of Carmen to be declared of National Tourist Interest.
Therefore, the Plenary has agreed to request the declaration of National Tourist Interest, to seek the support and collaboration of the Fishermen's Guild and the Virgen del Carmen Association, in order to trace the course and the involvement of each of the parties in this draft;
To allocate a budget for this purpose in the municipal budgets, and to urge the Regional Government to carry out all necessary steps and procedures on its part.
