The Pinatar institute celebrates the first edition of this European initiative that has the motto "Discover your talent" and whose purpose is to promote and make known the professional training as a formative alternative of the first level.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, the director general of Educational Quality and Vocational Training, Fernando Mateo Asensio, the director of IES Dos Mares, María Jesús Cantos del Viejo, today inaugurated the activities of these conferences that will include the workshops "How to set up an online business", taught by CECARM and the talk "Employability in FP".
This week aims to promote Vocational Training as a first-class educational choice, to be able to provide companies with highly qualified professionals.
In this sense, Fernando Mateo has pointed out that the Autonomous Community is working to modernize the vocational training system through three basic principles, such as encouraging the cycles have an early and stable level of labor insertion, Involving companies and incorporating more and more SMEs in this system and establishing a new map of cycles that suppose a territorial balance in the distribution of this knowledge.
For her part, the mayor has praised the initiative of the IES Dos Mares to join this European initiative and contribute their experience and work in the goal of improving the social perception of vocational training and open to the students themselves new expectations for the future.
