The competitions, organized with the aim of recovering and maintaining traditions for the Christmas Festivities, reward the originality and creativity of individuals and businesses.
The Council of Festivals has called for the second consecutive year the contest of nativity scenes and Christmas showcases, which aim to preserve the traditions and customs related to these dates, as well as boosting local commerce.
Thus, the II Christmas Showcase Competition will reward those businesses that bring Christmas to their premises, under artistic, technical and originality criteria.
The best showcase will receive 250 euros, while the second prize consists of 150 euros and the third of 100 euros.
On the other hand, the winner of the nativity contest will also receive a prize of 250 euros, while the second will receive 150 euros, the third 100 euros and will also award with 100 euros to the best family crib.
Participants will receive a gift, in addition to a poster as a participant and the inclusion of their name and photo of the showcase or nativity scene on the corporate website and social networks of the municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar, Party and Youth Commission Pinatar.
In addition, all participating merchants will receive tickets to distribute among their customers that will be exchangeable for toys in the Kings Parade.
The jury will be formed by the commission of full parties, which will visit the shops and participating cribs without notice from December 17 to January 3 and the ruling will be known at the event on January 4 to be held in The municipal carp.
