The Center for Tourist Initiatives hosts until January 14 a small exhibition composed of three scenes of traditional Bethlehem made by the Pinatarense Miguel Torres.
The exhibition includes the scenes of the Angel's Annunciation to Mary, the adoration of the Magi and the Rest in the flight to Egypt, all with dimensions of 0.80 meters wide, 0.80 meters deep and 0, 75 meters high.
The scenes are mainly made with porexpan, a light and moisture resistant material, which is completed with other elements, miniatures and details to give more realism to the whole.
While the figures are made in clay and ceramic paste by the workshop of José Luis Mayo Lebrija, completing the scenes various complements and miniatures.
Miguel Torres has developed this hobby for years, a long career in which he has participated in various competitions and exhibited his work in different places in the Mar Menor region, such as the CIT, San Javier church or Los Arcos Hospital.
The schedule to be able to visit these small scenes belenísticas in the Center of Tourist Initiatives is of Monday to Friday of 9 to 14 hours;
Saturdays from 10 to 14 hours and from 16 to 18 hours, and Sundays and holidays from 10.30 to 14 hours.
