The municipal carp has gathered about 200 children from seven schools in the municipality who have performed various carols to welcome the holiday season.
Around 200 students of the School of Infant Education n ° 1 and the schools Los Antolinos, Maspalomas, Nuestra Señora del Carmen, Villa Alegria, Las Esperanzas and Los Pinos participated today in the V Meeting of School Villancicos, organized by the Council of Education in the framework of the Christmas program.
The children of the Children's School No. 1 have been in charge of opening this contest with the interpretation of the carol "Twinkle twinkle little star", followed by the second grade pupils of Los Pinos with the theme "The Christmas Light", And the nursery of Our Lady of Carmen's primary room with "Our Christmas Song".
The song "Mi mejor regalo eres tú" was chosen by children from third elementary school in Villa Alegria, while fifth graders from Las Esperanzas have performed "Hecho con tus sueños", a song they have recorded Themselves.
This contest has concluded with the performances of the students of the second grade of Los Antolinos and their "Snowman" and the ye-yé version of the traditional carol "Los pastores de Belén", also recorded by the center.
The Councilor for Education, Guadalupe García, has praised the involvement of centers, which every year surprise with more elaborate designs, letters and compositions and has delivered a gift to teachers and directors of participating centers.
The day ended with a lunch of scones and chocolate for the little ones.
