The members of the homes of the pensioner Raimundo Benedicto and José Espinosa have started the celebration of the Christmas celebrations with a wide program of activities.
The Councilor for Social Policy, Francisca Pelegrín and the first lieutenant mayor, Pedro Javier Sánchez, together with presidents of the homes Raimundo Benedicto (San pedro del Pinatar) and José Espinosa (Lo Pagán), Mª Cleofe Pascual and Pedro Vicente Sánchez, respectively , Have welcomed Christmas with the opening of the nativity scenes of both centers.
The pastor of Lo Pagan along with other councilors of the Government Team, have also wanted to accompany the elders in these festivities.
As well as users of the Lo Pagan Day Center and the members and volunteers of the Mar Menor Alzheimer's Association (AMMA), which are based in downtown San Pedro.
Both acts have been enlivened by the choir of the Household Voices Doradas, which has played several popular villancicos, in front of the nativities of the two centers, before tasting some Christmas sweets.
The activities will be completed with sweepstakes, dances, meals of coexistence and the Intergenerational Party of grandparents and grandchildren, in which a magician king will give gifts to the children who accompany the partners.
