Today, the mixed employment and training program financed by the Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment financed by the SEF has been closed in San Pedro del Pinatar, which has allowed nine unemployed people in the municipality to alternate training and Paid employment over nine months.
Concretely, these people have carried out repair activities of pavement and masonry of urbanization, and now access a certificate of professionalism that increases their options to find employment in this sector.
The actions of these students-workers have taken place in 13 streets of San Pedro and in the coastal area known as Villananitos.
In this way, the urban infrastructure of these roads has been improved and certain tourist areas have been made accessible to all groups.
In addition, some commercial infrastructures have been improved.
The full-time participants were between 25 and 54, and were registered as job seekers in their SEF offices.
During this period they have received the salary corresponding to one hundred percent of the interprofessional minimum wage established annually.
