The subsidies that have been delivered for the first time in the locality, are granted based on the sports results obtained in sports or individual disciplines.
The Mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, accompanied by the Councilor for Sports, Daniel Perez, has awarded five individual grants, for a global value of 2,500 euros, to Pinatar athletes, who have excelled in different disciplines.
Last August, the Plenary approved the sports bases for these subsidies to regulate the granting of the same in competitive competition, according to the principles of publicity, transparency, equality, non-discrimination, effectiveness and efficiency.
This subsidies that have been delivered for the first time in the locality, are granted based on the results obtained sport in individual disciplines or disciplines.
Thus, the winning athletes have been, the champion of Spain in categories Sub-17 and Sub-19 of squash, Cristina Gómez Jiménez, Subchampion of Spain in absolute category and member of the Squash Spanish Selection with which it is classified in 8ª position In the Cto of Europe Sub-19, in the individual modality as well as with the national team, and in 7th position in the Cto de Europa Absoluto, that receives a subsidy of 637,00 €.
The swimmer Enrique Carrasco Rivera who won 7th place in 4x100m styles and 9th place in 4x50m styles in the Cto de España Absoluto plus a 5th place in 100m back and a 7th place in 4x100m free in the Championship of Spain Junior, has been subsidized with € 534.00.
In canoeing, Lázaro López de Haro has received a subsidy of € 534.00.
His performance in the Championship of Spain of track, where he participates in the modalities of K1 junior 200, 500 and 1000m, he achieved a 2nd place in K1 500, a 4th place in K1 200 and the 9th place in K1 1000m.
As a member of the National Team participates in the Cto de Europa where he is ranked 10th in K4 500m, 14th in K4 1000m, and 18th in K2200m.
Francisco Luengo Alarcón is also a member of the Spanish Canoeing Team. He is also a member of the Spanish Senior Canoeing Team and participates in the Senior European Championship, taking a 7th place finish in the semifinals and also participates in the U23 World Championship. The final B, with the fifth best time of the competition.
The subsidy for him is € 432.00
Finally, the young Lorenzo Martínez Aniorte, has received € 363.00.
The athlete is gold in the Championship of Spain combined tests in covered track.
Silver in the Championship of Spain Junior by clubs and bronze and silver in the Autonomous Junior Championship of Course Covered, in the modalities of weight and 60 meters fences.
During the press conference Visación Martinez announced that these subsidies will double their amount next year going from 2500 to 5000 euros to be able to help in this way more of the many elite athletes of Pinatar.
