The Cultural Casino organized this parade in which a mysterious princess from the East on a white horse announced the arrival of the Three Kings and collected the letters with the wishes of the little ones.
On Wednesday, January 4, San Pedro del Pinatar welcomed the arrival of a royal emissary, a mysterious princess who, on a white horse, announced the imminent arrival of the Magi in the streets of the municipality.
Among the retinue of the royal emissary stood a donkey with magical saddlebags, where the children were to deposit their petitions to their majesties of the East so that their desires would be fulfilled in the Twelfth Night.
The parade, organized by the Cultural Casino, departed at 8:00 pm on Calle Barón de Benifayó, in front of the Church, to the Casino, on Emilio Castelar Avenue, where the princess received the children.
The music of a rondalla and the band of horns and drums marked the rhythm of the parade with carols and popular themes.
The Brotherhood of Santiago Apostle and the group of Theater of San Javier collaborated in this activity.
AUTO OF THE MAGICAL KINGS
In addition, before the parade, the group of theater of San Javier realized a car of Christmas in the Church of San Pedro Apóstol, where they recreated the old Judea to represent the birth of Jesus and the events that triggered its arrival, as the trip of the Magi or Herod's revenge.
These acts precede the traditional cavalcade of the Magi who, after arriving by boat to Lo Pagan, around 18:00, will leave today from the Esplanade to the Plaza de España.
