The Department of Festejos opens the registration period for the groups interested in participating in the Carnival parade and will award in different categories the local groups and visitors.
The Council of Festivities of San Pedro del Pinatar opens the registration period for the groups, charangas and groups who wish to participate in the carnival parade that will be held on February 26, 2017.
In order to encourage participation and fill the streets of Pinatarense with fantasy and color, the council that Javier Castejón directs, will add to the amount that each participant participates (150 euros) the prizes that a jury formed by professionals of recognized prestige will grant to The local comparsas and comparsas participating in the Carnival of San Pedro del Pinatar.
The jury will take into account criteria such as the elegance, complexity, visibility and craftsmanship of the designs.
The choreography, coordination, originality, visibility and uniformity of the comparsas in the parade.
As well as the originality of costumes and dances.
As for the election of the Musa, choreography and the best disguise, considered as such, the most complex and colorful.
For the local comparsas the following prizes are established: 600 € for the winner, second prize of 400 € and third prize of 200 €.
Also will be rewarded to the best comparsa school with 200 € and the Best Musa of adults will receive 300 € and the Children's Muse: € 150
As for the visiting groups, 400 € for the first prize, 200 € for the second and third prize, € 100.
The best Musa Visitor will take 200 € and the Musa Visitor for children, 100 €.
