The president of the Autonomous Community, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, addressed the municipal projects for 2017.
The head of the Murcian government received the first mayor of Pinatar to treat the investments that have been included in the budgets of the Community to be held in the municipality.
Visitación Martínez explained that these budgets include several projects in educational matters, such as the construction of an aquarium pavilion and the repair of the changing rooms at the Instituto Manuel Tárraga Escribano, and the construction of a new module for children in the school of Maspalomas.
In terms of water, the autonomous budget allocates 1.5 million euros to various infrastructures such as the completion of the storm tank located in the José Luis de los Ríos park, a storm drainage project and the completion of a project of collectors of sanitation.
Another key project for the town is the rebuilding of the Floridablanca resort, which has a provision in the regional budgets of 405,000 euros, so the mayor has asked to expedite the administrative procedure.
In the health area, the budget also includes the initiation of the adjustment and reform of the medical office of Lo Pagán, which currently serves more than 4,000 people plus hundreds of displaced in the summer.
On the other hand, the mayor transferred the President of the Government the intention of the City Council to cede a municipal plot for the construction of a fire station in the town.
