The multifunctional hall of the Barón de Benifayó Municipal Museum will host the exhibition "A look at the past" in the next few days, in which we can see how the trajectory and evolution of the Carnival of San Pedro del Pinatar has been, on the 25th anniversary of the Election of his first queen.
Inaugurated on Friday evening by the Mayoress, Visitation Martinez and Councilor of Festivities, Javier Castejón, in it, you can find numerous material related to this quarter of a century.
There are more than a dozen mannequins with their costumes, a hundred photos, beads, necklaces, carnival masks, posters etc. showing, from the queen of the year 1992, belonging to the housemates comparsa, to the last of the Year of the comparsa La Amistad, being the oldest costume exhibited in 1991.
"A look back" can be visited until Tuesday 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., from Tuesday to Friday, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 p.m. At 1:00 p.m.
The events of the carnival will continue with the gala "Welcome to the Carnival", to be held on Friday, February 24, Saturday, the turn of the Children's Carnival in the Plaza de la Constitución and Sunday, February 26, at 17: 00 pm, the Great Carnival parade, which involves more than a dozen local bands and 14 guests.
