The Minister of Water, Agriculture and the Environment, Adela Martínez Cachá, and the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martínez, addressed today the projects that will be carried out in the town in 2017.
The projects of the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Environment to be developed in San Pedro del Pinatar, included in the regional budgets for 2017, have centered the meeting held today by its head, Adela Martínez Cachá, and the mayor, Visitation Martinez.
The mayor explained that this year will be a network of sanitation collectors in the urban center, a performance valued at 1.22 million and that will improve the sewerage of the town.
In addition, the drafting of a waist channel project will be carried out in the northern part of the municipality, parallel to the AP7 motorway, thus avoiding water avenues in the event of torrential rains such as those occurred last December.
In this sense, the state of the beach of Villananitos, affected by the storm and where the Demarcation of Coasts will soon perform a contribution of sand, which will be complemented by the environmental restoration of the funds, by the Counseling.
The mayor has stressed the importance of the regeneration of this beach, which has dragged a mud problem in the funds since the flood of 1997, which has been aggravated by the rains of December.
Another theme discussed during the meeting was the rehabilitation project for Floridablanca Spa.
The mayor has asked to speed up the administrative procedures dependent on the Ministry of Environment to promote this project.
