The Minister of Family and Equality of Opportunities, Violante Tomás, today signed the collaboration agreement with the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, to provide the new service of Home Help of the municipality and visited a marriage of users of the same.
This agreement, which will benefit 60 people, has a funding of 127,080 euros for 2017.
The budget will go to the set of actions that will be carried out in the home of people in a situation of dependency, to attend to the needs of their daily life, such as cleaning, washing, cooking or other, as well as with personal attention and daily life activities.
Last year informational meetings were held attended by the Councilors of Social Services of all municipalities in the Region, which dealt with the subject of the agreement of the Service of Assistance to Domicile of the System of Attention to Dependency.
"The agreement, which we are going to implement in all municipalities, will allow dependent people to be cared for in their locality, in their home and, in addition, in the best possible conditions," explained the counselor.
Violante Tomás stressed that this service "provides professional care to dependent persons in their homes, as well as continuous monitoring by municipal social services, which will mean creating new jobs throughout the Region, mainly for the woman".
