This municipal initiative, aimed at young people enrolled in the Youth Guarantee program, seeks to personally attend each of the participants so that they can join the labor market, return to the education system or undertake new training actions.
The general director of Youth of the Autonomous Community, Francisco Sánchez, the Councilors of Employment, José Fernández, and Juventud, Javier Castejón, attended last Tuesday, March 21, the closing of the first incubadora of Young Employment, an initiative of the City council of San Pedro del Pinatar for the activation of the young population in the labor market.
This initiative, which has been developed by the socio-cultural association Mikaseda, has lasted for three months, and has involved 14 young people, of whom six found work, three chose to carry out specific training aimed at employment and two restarted their studies , Which means a 40% of labor insertion and a 70% of activation.
The coordinator of the program explained that they worked with the young people in a group way, through five sessions and in an individualized way, in order to seek the motivation of each one of them, to reinforce their abilities and to uncover the individual potentials of each one of them. participants.
Based on the results gathered in this first experience, the City Council prepares the second employment incubator, which will start with its recruitment phase next April.
