On the night of Holy Wednesday, the Via Crucis of the Most Holy Christ of the Mar Menor was officiated, which processioned on the shores of the lagoon on the shoulders of 40 portapasos who fervently prayed the fourteen stations of the Via Crucis.
The image of the Christ of the Mar Menor, the work of the Murcian sculptor Antonio García Mengual, departed at 22:00 hours of the Parish Church of Our Lady of Carmen, from where the Via Crucis began to the chapel of Our Lady of the Assumption in Villananitos.
The Passion and the Calvary of Jesus Christ, gathered last night to hundreds of faithful in the coastal hamlet of Lo Pagan, to attend one of the most unique events of the Holy Week Pinatarense.
