The Holy Week of Pinatar last night experienced one of its most emotional and awaited moments with the procession of the Encounter, which was followed by a penitential Way of the Cross of the Christ of Forgiveness.
The central crossroads of Emilio Castelar Avenue and Las Salinas avenue turn every Holy Thursday into the street of La Amargura, where Jesus Nazareno, escorted by the Roman third, meets his mother, the Blessed Virgin of Los Dolores, before the Look of Saint John the Evangelist and the Pious Veronica.
The touch of silence of horns and drums gives way to a heartfelt arrow, by Manuel Luzon and the fall of the cloth of the Veronica Pious, showing the face of Jesus.
The initial darkness of the encounter gives way to the light that illuminates the encounter of mother and son and begins the solemn procession with the four images.
Already after midnight the Via Crucis began, in which the penitents followed the image of the Christ of Forgiveness accompanied only by the sound of four drums.
Today, Good Friday, is celebrated the most popular procession of Holy Week Pinatarense, Santo Entierro, in which 14 thrones procession accompanied by hundreds of Nazarenes, cofrades, musicians, manolas and shelves.
