The program runs from today until April 23, with the aim of promoting reading and creating new readers through activities for children.
The programming activities held on the occasion of the Day of the Book began today, Monday, April 17, with a children's workshop of illustration and experimental painting, by Kataryna Rogowicz, in the premises of the House of Culture, where they will develop the Most workshops.
This way, the little ones will be able to enjoy tomorrow afternoon of the interactive storytelling Adventures of "the black hand", in charge of Sara Martínez, who will also make several bookmark workshops Wednesday from 10.30 to 12.00 hours.
Directed to the general public, the assembly hall of the House of Culture will host tomorrow, at 20:00 hours, the presentation of "Suspended Tales" by Antonio Parra and on April 19, at the same time, a recital of Poetry and music by Magdalena Sánchez and José Antonio Flores.
The events will continue on Thursday 20 April with a theater of shadows and the representation of "Huellas", Periferia theater, in the garden of the House of Culture, where on Friday, April 21, various workshops will be held, with the Dynamization of The red tree, and at 16:30 hours, will take place a story music, by Selbicursos.
On Saturday, April 22, there will be a workshop of puppets and the accountant "Albin, the brave rabbit", by Carmen Theater.
In the afternoon, the auditorium will host the play El Principito, with the company Silfo.
The activities will end on Sunday, April 23, Book Day, with the representation of "Love Cervantes", of the Meopomene Cave in the Plaza de la Constitución, at 12:00 hours, and the awards of the Microstory Competition "La Sal", at 20:00 in the hall of the House of Culture.
