With the slogan Europe for change: youth togehter to save the planet (Europe for change: young people together to save the planet) began the First International Fair of Environment Youth, which had the participation of youth organizations throughout Europe, conducted several workshops, including the development of solar tea, sachets, purses recycled as well as two exhibitions, one on climate change and another on water.
In addition, there was a European exchange within the European Youth in Action program aimed at young people from 5 countries (Spain, Italy, Norway, Hungary and France).
The local associations have turned to the initiative, and had a strong representation with points of information, distribution of promotional material and an explanation of their projects for the conservation and environmental protection as well as various environmental volunteer programs we have in San Pedro del Pinatar.
"Once again, global thinking, to avoid climate change, leads to common premises and necessary action initiated by young people," said the councilman of Youth, Carmen Honrubia and the mayor of the Environment, organizers of this activity.
