The Technology Fair of San Pedro del Pinatar today brings together companies in the sector and educational entities with the latest innovations in drones, 3D printers, virtual reality, 360 degree photography, robotics, programming, video games, etc.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, and the Councilor for New Technologies, Álvaro Tárraga, today visited the fourth edition of the technological fair Pinatar Interactiva, held every year in the municipal tent, installed in the esplanade of Lo Pagán.
This event has once again hosted the Informatics Olympics of the Region of Murcia, organized by the University of Murcia's computer science faculty, which this year celebrates its tenth edition and which competes students from institutes of different municipalities in the fields Programming and robotics.
In the educational field, IES Dos Mares, with various projects in the area of ​​robotics, and the association iSchool in collaboration with FAPA Pinatar have also been present at the Fair.
These groups have also shown many of the applications that are given to new technologies for the training of students in schools.
The fair also hosts, throughout the day, the FIFA video game championship, which will be awarded a Nintendo Switch console for the winner and has brought together 80 participants in this edition.
In the exhibition area, the fair also has several leading companies in the field of new technologies, with development material for robots, drone displays, 3D printing, spherical photography or virtual reality glasses.
In addition to an official Google partner to clarify to companies any doubts about the online presence of their businesses and geolocation and show new developments in this area.
The Pinatar Interactiva fair will be celebrated today until 19:00 hours in the esplanade of Lo Pagán.
