The center has about 150 users and more than 35 workers and offers daily different care and occupational services to people with disabilities.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martinez, accompanied by the Councilors of Social Welfare, Francisca Pelegrín;
Citizen Participation, Fuensanta García, and New Technologies, Álvaro Tárraga, visited the day center of Aidemar on its fourteenth anniversary.
This center opened its doors on May 5, 2003 and currently has 147 users and a total of 37 workers, as well as municipal volunteers, working in the integration and assistance to people with disabilities from different areas.
During the event, the athlete of the year and user of the year were handed over, and a diploma was awarded to the most outstanding users of the different workshops, voted by their own colleagues.
Visación Martínez has praised the daily work done by the association, both professionals, volunteers and the users of the center, and has shown its willingness to continue collaborating through different projects such as Local Volunteering.
