On July 2, the municipal sports center will host this sporting event, organized by the youth of the parish and intended to raise funds for pastoral activities.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, the Councilor for Sports, Daniel Pérez, the local parish priest, Roberto Burgos and José Ángel Pardo, representing the youth of the parish, presented today at a press conference the first Edition of the Olympiad Solidaria, to be held on July 2 at the municipal sports center.
The objective of these Olympics is to collaborate with the pastoral activities of the parish with children and young people, such as summer camps or pilgrimages in which Christian values ​​are transmitted.
This sports day, which is sponsored by more than 30 local shops, will have simultaneous competitions in the modalities of futsal, cross, beach volleyball, paddle, basket 3x3 and soccer 7.
There will also be children's categories in futsal and cross.
Registration will be 3 euros for children and ranges between 5 and 10 euros in the adult tests.
