The Councilor for the Environment of San Pedro del Pinatar, Pedro Javier Sánchez, today reported on the activities promoted by the City on the occasion of the International Day of the Environment, which is celebrated on 5 June.
Under the motto "Connecting people with nature", San Pedro del Pinatar joins this commemoration with a guided tour next Saturday, June 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., to the regional park Salinas and Arenales Of San Pedro, in collaboration with the Visitor Center "Las Salinas".
This activity is open to all audiences and will consist of 4.5 kilometers in which the fauna and flora of the park will be explored, welcoming the newborn birds at this time in the Salinas.

In addition, on 5 and 6 June will be carried out actions related to recycling in the municipal ecoparque addressed to schoolchildren of the municipality, through different activities that will include, as a novelty, projections through virtual reality glasses.
These activities will be completed on June 5 with a pine plantation, by the Department of Sports, in the vicinity of the municipal sports center, with the aim of creating a new green area.
