The Mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, together with the general director of Youth, Francisco Sánchez, and the Councilor for Youth, Javier Castejón, today presented the prizes to the components of the winning team of the Euroscola competition, in which they have participated 14 teams from all over the Region, and this year has been for the group "San Peter-Sburgo", of the San Pedro Apostol Educational Center of San Pedro del Pinatar.
The twenty-third edition of this competition, convened by the Information Office of the European Parliament in Spain and supported by the Community through the Europe Direct center, consisted in making a video on the European Union Charter of Rights , In the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Rome treaties.
The winners will enjoy, together with the winners in the other communities and autonomous cities, a trip to Strasbourg to meet the European parliamentary seat and participate in a day of simulation of the European Parliament with students from all EU countries.
