The Municipal Sports Center hosted yesterday, June 10, the fifth edition of the Pinatarius Obstaculum Cursus, a popular race set in ancient Rome, celebrated in the framework of patron saint festivities and this year has had important news, the main, the Circuit with exit and goal in the own sports center.
In addition, the riders, 1,300 in the different categories, absolute and infantile Pinatarius Impuves, of this race that in this fifth edition has been more than seven kilometers and 30 obstacles, have been encountered with a cross-country circuit along Roads, shrubs, uneven ground and hills, with roots, cables, water, slippery surfaces.
The fences, mud, ice and fire, have made this meeting one of the favorites of the participants, consolidating this event as a benchmark sport in the Pinatar calendar.
The competition began at 17:00 with the children's tests.
A fun and fast-paced quadbike show was held, with bicycles running with quadrigas, and at 19:30 hours the absolute test was released, in four waves.
Finally the results were as follows for each category:
Absolute masculine classification: 3 ° Welcome Ballester Martínez, 2nd Ángel Mayor García, 1st Antonio Ballester Martínez.
Absolute female classification: 3 ° Marta Beltrán Bañón, 2 ° Carmen Ruíz López and 1 ° Mª Victoria Soler Gimenez.
Absolute Women's Classification Local: 3 ° Marina Esquiva Vizcay, 2 ° Esther Garnés Martínez and 1 ° Melani Marín Meroño.
Male Absolute Classification Local: 3 ° Antonio García Albaladejo, 2 ° Welcome Ballester Martínez, 1 ° Antonio Ballester Martínez.
This year, the most numerous club has been the local Deposito Club 30740 and nine mentions of loyalty to the riders who participated in the five editions of the Pinatarius Obstaculum Cursus were made to: Antonio Ballester Martínez, Pedro Carlos Garcia Sánchez, Alfonso Gimenez Lorente, Jaime Martínez Olmos, Pedro Molina Fernandez, José Antonio Munuera Martínez, José Manuel Navarro Pérez, José Manuel Robles Moreno and Lorenzo Ros Ferrer.
