The number of affiliates to Social Security was in May at 7,208 contributors, while unemployment was at 1,900 unemployed, 87 less than the previous month.
San Pedro del Pinatar has again registered a reduction in the number of unemployed during the month of May, which stood at 1,900 unemployed, 4.37% less than in the previous month and in annual terms the reduction is from 9.32%, with a drop of 213 unemployed compared to May 2017.
This positive trend, which added 42 consecutive months of year-on-year decline in unemployment, is also reflected in data on social security affiliation, which this month stood at 7,208 contributors, 21 affiliates more than in the previous month.
In year-on-year terms, the increase was 479, 6.64%.
