The whole team of the concerted center San Pedro Apóstol won an exciting final held at the Pinatar Arena with the team New Castelar College, in this tournament organized by the sports association Pinatar Balompié.
The Pinatar Arena complex hosted yesterday the final of the 2017 Interescuelas Cup organized by Pinatar Balompié, which ended with an exciting final that faced the tournament champion San Pedro Apóstol and the New Castelar College, defeating the first By 2 goals to 0 against a tough opponent who did not give his arm to twist and proved to be a finalist.
Both sets reached the decisive party after getting rid of the semifinals of the schools Las Esperanzas and Los Antolinos, respectively.
The tournament began a little after 4 in the afternoon, with a sun of justice, which did not prevent the boys and girls of the schools of Pinatarenses to leave their skin for defending their schools.
The quarterfinals faced San Pedro Apóstol, opposite Nuestra Señora del Carmen, Las Esperanzas before Villa Alegría, Los Antolinos against Los Pinos, and New Castelar College in front of Maspalomas.
After the quarterfinal clashes, the tables of GOLD (for the title) and of SILVER (consolation) were decided, a system of competition that allows all the boys to dispute the same encounters.
More than four hours of competition in which the young people of San Pedro played football and enjoyed a day of coexistence with the other colleagues of the educational community Pinatarense, snacked and could enjoy the facilities of Pinatar Arena.
After the final, the trophy was chaired by Councilor for Sports, Daniel Pérez and Councilor for Education, Guadalupe Garcia, accompanied by the president of the club organizer, Pinatar Balompié, Pedro Garrido.
At the ceremony the tireless and cooperative work of all the teachers of the educational centers was acknowledged, and they received a gift.
Also Pinatar Balompié thanked the collaboration of the sports council, giving him a plaque of recognition.
Then details of participation were given to all the players and the corresponding trophy for teams and individuals.
The event ended with the express gratitude to all sponsors of the tournament (AGROMARK, PEDRIN Pastry and PINATAR KIDS), to Pinatar Arena, for giving one more year to the facilities and to the City Council for their involvement in the project.
As well as all players, coaches and families for their dedication, sacrifice, sportsmanship and collaboration in the tournament.
