The Mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, accompanied by the president of the Federation of Peñas Huertanas de Murcia, Juan Pablo Hernández, and the Queen of the Garden 2017, Paula Gómez, closed last Sunday, June 25, XII International Festival of Folklore Villa de San Pedro.

The group "El Pinar", Peña El Caldero was in charge of closing this festival with the show "Star of the Seas", a tribute to the festival of the Romería of the Virgin of Carmen in the year commemorating his 125 anniversary.

The festival started on Friday, June 23 with the performance of the Murcia group Azarbe and troveros group, which would continue on Saturday the performance of the foreign folk groups, "Labranza Holguera", Caceres and "Sherezade", Fuensalida (Toledo).
