The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, and the Councilor for Tourism, Silvia Egea Morales, today raised the Q flag of quality awarded this year to the beaches of Villananitos and La Puntica.

These flags are awarded by the Institute for Spanish Tourist Quality (ICTE), which has certified with this badge 236 beaches and 19 nautical-sport facilities throughout Spain.

Visación Martínez has pointed out that the Q flags of Quality Tourism on the beaches are a symbol of trust because it recognizes that it has the optimal services of cleaning, security, surveillance and respect for the environment.
