The fourth edition of the Pinatar Full Moon Race, included in the regional Murcia Running Challenge, was held last night at the Marina Marina of Las Salinas and once again had a large participation of athletes who toured, under the light of The moon, the unique environment of the natural park Salinas and Arenales de San Pedro.
A unique natural landscape, under the moonlight and in different surfaces, asphalt and sand, with a course of 7.5 kilometers, make the test a reference within the regional calendar, a meeting that in this edition, added 800 inscribed.
The Full Moon Race was completed with children's events in which 100 children from the categories prebenjamines to juveniles participated, in the dock of the marina.
The race included a circular route of 7.5 kilometers, in which participants have toured the avenue of El Puerto, the perimeter channel of Las Salinas and the natural beaches of El Mojón and Torre Derribada.
The runner Moises Meroño Zapata, 30740 Club Deportivo, with a time of 25:30, was the first to cross the finish line, followed by Juan Emilio Miras Costa, Orbitalia-CA de Nogalte with a time of 25:32 and Bruno Alfonso Colomer, of the same club with 25:47
In the female category, Mercedes Merino Garcia, from the Club Mobel Automenor Runni with a time of 30:47 was the first, followed by Beatriz Rios Morata, Alcaraz Group with 31:52 in qualifying time, and Elisa Ramón, third with 32:24
