The plenary of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar today approved the presentation of the General Account for 2016, which yields a surplus of 896,948.70 euros.
Councilor for Finance, José Fernández, explained that the General Account, a document that reflects the economic situation at 31 December 2016, also shows a decrease in bank debt of € 3,404,380.40.
He also highlighted the execution of the budget of expenses to 96.27% taking into account the adjustment of investments that is transferred by the remainder until 2017, and reaches 98.02%.
The execution of the revenue budget is 98.19%, which, taking into account the adjustments for incorporation of remanent of prior years, reaches 102.4%.
As one of the most positive indicators of this exercise, the mayor highlights the significant improvement in different economic indicators, such as Investment per capita, Fiscal autonomy, collection of previous years, lower per capita indebtedness ratio and improvement in the average period of Payment to suppliers, among others.
