The Family and Equal Opportunities Department contributes € 10,494 to the financing of municipal services for reconciling work and family life in San Pedro del Pinatar in the summer schools of the schools Villa Alegría and Maspalomas.

These summer schools are aimed at families with children between the ages of 3 and 12 and include outdoor sports activities and classroom activities, where all kinds of workshops, painting, theater, games, dance, Reading and English.

The regional government allocates 402,400 euros in 2017 to subsidize directly to the municipalities the implementation of municipal reconciliation services.
These services include school projects in non-school periods, such as the case of San Pedro del Pinatar, extension of morning and afternoon schedules in schools and other municipal facilities, extracurricular activities and kangaroo services in municipal units.
"With this line of financing we facilitate the adaptation of conciliation services to the needs and particularities of each municipality, giving more effective solutions in each case," said the director general.

The Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities will give the second edition of the course on reconciliation strategies, starting in September, which will train 120 professionals responsible for reconciling work and private life programs in different municipalities in the Region Of Murcia.
Thus, progress is made in the specialization of these personnel to implement a gender perspective in the design, implementation and evaluation of municipal programs and initiatives to promote reconciliation.
This training will be carried out in a comarcalized way in four municipalities, one of them San Pedro del Pinatar.
The set of actions to foster co-responsibility and reconciliation of work, personal and family life is co-financed by 80 percent by the Operational Program of European Social Fund of the Region of Murcia for the period 2014-2020.
