The football field José Antonio Pérez de Lo Pagán hosted last Thursday, August 31, the presentation of the sports club Alentejo Pinatarense, which will be in the category of 2nd Autonomous Murcian football.
Atletico Pinatarense is a sports club created by young players from San Pedro del Pinatar, who have formed at the base of the local football school and have now had the initiative to promote this club to be able to continue enjoying this sport.
The field José Antonio Pérez hosted the afternoon of August 31 the presentation of this new team that will debut in the 2nd regional Murcia next September 10 and whose main objectives are to promote and disseminate values ​​such as commitment, teamwork, effort and sportsmanship through the practice of football.
The team has a team fully linked to the Pinatar Base Soccer School, most of the players have been trained since children in the Pinatarense field and want to continue now with this sport, with the support of local sponsors such as Cyan Dental, Rodrigo Promotores, the Cantina A Mar de Goles, Pinturas Carrasco, as well as a long list of more than 60 companies from Pinatar that have already collaborated with the club.
The Mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez and Councilor for Sports, Daniel Perez, accompanied the board and players of the club in its long run, along with the president of Atlético Pinatarense, Antonio Rubio.
Visiting Martínez highlighted during the event the initiative of creating this new club, which already indicated as a reference for children who practice this sport from the base, "because you will see in it a future option to be able to continue playing football in his municipality ".
He also thanked the work of parents and family to make this project a reality and transferred the commitment of the City Council to continue working hand in hand with clubs and associations to promote sports practice, offering and improving municipal facilities for this purpose.
For his part, Antonio Rubio highlighted the great illusion with which this project is born and the union of technical staff and players, whom he urged to continue to show off as a pineapple throughout the season.
He also thanked the support received in the municipality for the creation of the club and especially emphasized the help received by the small Pinatarian trade, which has been overturned with the new team.
